Diane Wittry is available to clinic your orchestra and to prepare them for festivals or competitions. This type of interaction is very valuable for your students and could help move them into the Gold/Superior Level of performance. Clinics can be done during your regular orchestra class time, or can be set up as a special rehearsal after school. You will select the music that you would like your group to work on during the clinic session. Most Clinics are just one hour long, but special clinics of up to 3 hours in length can be arranged. Diane Wittry teaches many conducting classes and seminars throughout the year and is in demand as a conducting teacher both in the United States and in Europe. You can arrange for a special Conducting Master Class for the conducting students at your school. As a composer, Diane Wittry has had her music performed by many orchestras throughout the world. She has also been a frequent adjudicator for composer competitions. Her lectures on "how to make your parts readable so that your first reading of your piece is a success," is invaluable to all new composers. Diane Wittry has given talks and lectures at the Juilliard School of Music, the Curtis Institute of Music, Brandies University, the University of Southern California, and many other Colleges and Universities. She is a frequent guest speaker for national conferences of the Conductors Guild and the League of American Orchestras, and for regional music seminars. Diane Wittry has also given talks for Rotary, Kiwanis, Lions, and other civic clubs throughout the United States. Her antidotal stories about things that she has experienced in her career, and her passion for sharing music with others is contagious.
